BodyScope ("the App") is a 3D anatomy learning application. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.

Information We Collect

Data Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to our servers:

• Quiz statistics — scores and progress tracking
• Bookmarks — saved camera positions and views
• Annotations — your notes on anatomical structures
• Favorite structures — structures you have marked as favorites
• App preferences — settings and UI state

Data Transmitted to Our Servers

When you use the AI Explain feature, the App sends the following to our API server (api.bodyscope.app):

• The name and metadata of the anatomical structure you are viewing
• An optional study context you provide

This data is used solely to generate an educational explanation and is not stored or logged on our servers beyond the duration of the request.

Data Handled by Third Parties

Google Play Billing — If you purchase a subscription, payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect or store your payment information. See Google's Privacy Policy.

Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect personal information (name, email, phone number)
• We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs
• We do not collect device identifiers or location data
• We do not display advertisements

Data Retention

All user data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the App removes all stored data. We do not maintain server-side user accounts or profiles.

Children's Privacy

The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App is an educational tool suitable for all ages.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted within the App or on this page.
